David Brog is the executive director of the Maccabee Task Force (“MTF”). MTF combats anti-Semitism on college campuses through a strategy that wins influential campus allies and, through these allies, builds broad coalitions to defend Jewish students. MTF currently funds and implements this program on 75 of the largest and most influential campuses across the United States.
Prior to MTF, Brog was the executive director of Christians United for Israel (“CUFI”) from its founding in 2006 until 2015. In this role Brog grew the organization from zero to over six million members and established CUFI as one of the most influential pro-Israel groups in the United States.
Before CUFI, Brog worked in the United States Senate for almost a decade as counsel, chief counsel and then chief of staff to Senator Arlen Specter as well as staff director of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Brog is the author of Reclaiming Israel’s History: Roots, Rights and the Struggle for Peace (2017), In Defense of Faith: the Judeo-Christian Idea and the Struggle for Humanity (2010) and Standing with Israel: Why Christians Support the Jewish State (2006).
He is a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School.
